Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Remote Role Society website, services, and any related platforms operated by Talyon Holdings Ltd. By accessing or using our services you agree to be bound by these terms.

1.1 Who We Are

Remote Role Society is a career concierge service operated by Talyon Holdings Ltd. We provide job search assistance, resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn optimization, job application management, interview coaching, and career strategy services. We are not a staffing agency, recruiter, or employment agency.

1.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using our services you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

1.3 Services Provided

Remote Role Society provides the following services as described in detail on our website and Payhip storefront:

  • Monthly subscription concierge packages including Starter, Essential, Focused, Accelerated, Priority, and Executive
  • A la carte individual services including resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn optimization, interview coaching, and career consultations
  • Access to the Remote Role Society Resource Library and Private Community based on subscription tier
  • General Career GPT available as a monthly rental or one-time lifetime purchase

1.4 Acceptable Use

By using our services you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in all intake forms and communications
  • Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity in any materials we create on your behalf
  • Not use our services for any unlawful purpose
  • Not attempt to resell, redistribute, or reproduce any materials created for you by Remote Role Society
  • Notify us immediately if you receive a job offer so applications can be paused on your behalf

1.5 Intellectual Property

All resumes, cover letters, and materials created by Remote Role Society are created for your personal use only. You may not sell, redistribute, or share these materials as templates or products. The Remote Role Society brand, website content, GPT tools, and resource library materials are the intellectual property of Talyon Holdings Ltd.

1.6 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.

Policy 02

Privacy Policy

Remote Role Society is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2.1 Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact information including full name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
  • Professional information including work history, job titles, duties, dates of employment, salary history, education, certifications, and skills
  • Job platform credentials including usernames and passwords for platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter, provided voluntarily for the purpose of submitting applications on your behalf
  • Payment information processed securely through Payhip and Stripe. We do not store payment card numbers.
  • Communication records including emails, voice memos, call notes, and progress reports exchanged between you and your career concierge
  • Usage information reflecting how you interact with our website and community platforms

2.2 How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information exclusively to deliver our services, including:

  • Building and refining your resume and cover letter
  • Sourcing and applying to jobs on your behalf
  • Sending you weekly job leads and progress reports
  • Scheduling and conducting strategy calls and coaching sessions
  • Communicating with you about your search
  • Improving our internal processes and service quality

2.3 Information We Do Not Share

We will never:

  • Sell your personal information to any third party
  • Share your information with employers or job boards beyond what is necessary to submit applications on your behalf
  • Use your information for marketing purposes beyond Remote Role Society communications
  • Store your job platform credentials beyond your active service period

2.4 Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Job platform credentials are stored securely and deleted upon cancellation of your subscription.

2.5 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you choose to resubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@rrs.com.

2.6 Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. Contact us at info@rrs.com to make a request.

Policy 03

Refund Policy

All sales are final. Remote Role Society does not issue refunds once service has begun or once applications have been submitted on your behalf. By purchasing any Remote Role Society product or subscription you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

3.1 Monthly Subscriptions

All monthly subscription plans are non-refundable once the subscription period has begun. If you cancel your subscription before your next billing date, your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle and you will retain access to your plan benefits through that date.

3.2 A La Carte Services

All a la carte service purchases are non-refundable once the service has been delivered or once work has begun on your order. This includes but is not limited to resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn optimization, mock interview prep, and coaching sessions.

3.3 Coaching and Consultation Sessions

Scheduled coaching and consultation sessions are non-refundable once booked. If you need to reschedule you must do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. No-shows and same-day cancellations forfeit the session fee.

3.4 GPT Access

Monthly GPT rental subscriptions are non-refundable once the subscription period has begun. Lifetime GPT access purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted.

3.5 Exceptions

We do not make exceptions to this refund policy except in cases where a technical error on our part prevented the delivery of a service that was paid for. In such cases please contact us at info@rrs.com within 7 days of the issue occurring.

Policy 04

No Guarantee Disclaimer

Remote Role Society does not guarantee job interviews, job offers, or employment of any kind. Results vary based on individual qualifications, market conditions, employer decisions, and factors entirely outside our control.

4.1 What We Do

Remote Role Society provides career support services including resume writing, cover letter writing, job application management, job lead curation, LinkedIn optimization, interview coaching, and career strategy. We do everything within our ability to position you competitively in your job search.

4.2 What We Cannot Control

We cannot control and make no representations about:

  • Whether employers choose to contact, interview, or hire you
  • The number of applications required before you receive an interview
  • The length of your job search
  • Changes in hiring market conditions
  • Employer-specific hiring freezes, budget changes, or internal decisions
  • Your performance in interviews or during the hiring process

4.3 Acknowledgment

By subscribing to any Remote Role Society plan or purchasing any a la carte service you acknowledge that you understand and accept this disclaimer and that you are not purchasing a guarantee of employment.

Policy 05

Client Authorization and Waiver Policy

For all plans that include done-for-you application services including Focused, Accelerated, Priority, and Executive, the following authorization and waiver terms apply.

5.1 Authorization to Apply

By signing the client waiver and completing the intake form you authorize Remote Role Society to submit job applications on your behalf using the credentials, resume, cover letter, and personal information you have provided. You confirm that all information you have provided is accurate and truthful.

5.2 Client Responsibilities

While enrolled in a done-for-you plan you agree to:

  • Respond to Remote Role Society communications within 48 hours
  • Notify us immediately if you receive a job offer so applications can be paused
  • Notify us immediately of any changes to your job platform credentials or search preferences
  • Not independently apply to the same positions we are applying to on your behalf without informing us
  • Provide accurate information and notify us of any inaccuracies in your intake form

5.3 Waiver of Claims

By authorizing Remote Role Society to apply on your behalf you waive any claims against Remote Role Society arising from the submission of applications to positions for which you are not hired, not interviewed, or not considered by employers.

Policy 06

Data and Credential Security Policy

The security of your personal information and job platform credentials is taken seriously at Remote Role Society. This policy explains how we handle sensitive data.

6.1 Credential Handling

  • Job platform credentials are used solely for the purpose of submitting applications on your behalf
  • Credentials are stored securely and are never shared with any third party
  • We recommend creating unique passwords for each job platform before sharing them with us
  • You may change your passwords at any time and provide us with updated credentials
  • All credentials are permanently deleted upon cancellation of your subscription

6.2 Recommendations for Clients

  • Create a dedicated email address for job search activity if possible
  • Use unique passwords for each job platform
  • Change your passwords immediately after your service period ends
  • Do not share passwords you use for banking, email, or other sensitive accounts
Policy 07

Community Standards Policy

The Remote Role Society Private Community is a professional space for job seekers at all stages of their search. All community members are expected to uphold the following standards.

7.1 Expected Behavior

  • Treat all members with respect and professionalism at all times
  • Share resources, encouragement, and constructive feedback
  • Celebrate the wins of fellow members
  • Keep discussions relevant to career development and job searching
  • Protect the privacy of other members and do not share their personal information outside the community

7.2 Prohibited Behavior

  • Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind
  • Spam, solicitation, or self-promotion without prior approval
  • Sharing misleading or false job listings
  • Impersonating Remote Role Society staff or other members
  • Sharing copyrighted materials without authorization

7.3 Enforcement

Violations of the community standards may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community without refund. Remote Role Society reserves the right to remove any member at any time for conduct that is harmful to the community.

Policy 08

Cancellation Policy

8.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your Remote Role Society subscription at any time by logging into your Payhip account and cancelling through the subscription management portal, or by emailing us at info@rrs.com with your name and the plan you wish to cancel.

8.2 When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to your plan benefits through the end of your paid period. No partial month refunds are issued.

8.3 Reactivation

You may reactivate a cancelled subscription at any time by purchasing a new plan through the Remote Role Society Payhip storefront. Reactivation begins a new billing cycle and a new intake form may be required.

8.4 Effect of Cancellation on Access

  • Resource Library access ends at the end of your billing cycle
  • Private Community access ends at the end of your billing cycle
  • Done-for-you application services stop at the end of your billing cycle
  • GPT rental access ends at the end of your billing cycle
  • Lifetime GPT access purchased as a one-time fee is not affected by subscription cancellation

10.2 Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with Remote Role Society regarding our services please contact us first at info@rrs.com. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. If we are unable to resolve a dispute through direct communication, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Florida under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

10.3 Governing Law

These policies and any disputes arising from your use of Remote Role Society services are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

ADA and Web Accessibility Policy

Remote Role Society is committed to ensuring our website and digital services are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable federal and state accessibility laws.

11.1 Our Commitment

  • You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or to alert you when websites set or access cookies
  • If you disable or refuse cookies some parts of our website may become inaccessible or not function properly

CCPA Policy (California Residents)

14.2 How We Use This Information

We use the personal information we collect to provide our career concierge services as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

14.3 Your Rights Under CCPA

As a California resident you have the following rights:

  • Right to know: you may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
  • Right to delete: you may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to correct: you may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share your personal information so this right does not currently apply
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: you may direct us to limit our use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the services you have requested
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights

14.4 How to Submit a Request

To submit a CCPA request please contact us at info@rrs.com with the subject line "CCPA Request." We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. If we need more time we will notify you of the extension and the reason within the initial 45-day period.

14.5 Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a CCPA request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent's permission to act on your behalf and may verify your identity directly with you.

COPPA Policy (Children's Privacy)

This policy addresses our practices regarding the privacy of children in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

15.1 Our Services Are Not Directed at Children

Remote Role Society's website, services, community, and all related platforms are intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. Our career concierge services are professional services designed for adult job seekers. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under the age of 13.

15.2 No Knowing Collection of Children's Data

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent we will take steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.

15.3 If You Believe a Child Has Submitted Information

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to Remote Role Society without your consent please contact us immediately at info@rrs.com with the subject line "COPPA Concern." We will investigate and take appropriate action including deleting the information within 30 days.

15.4 Age Verification

By using our services, subscribing to any plan, or submitting an intake form you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you do not meet this requirement you are not permitted to use our services.
